Our Story

Tiffany & Nalaboff Investigations is a family-owned California corporation. Our grandfather, WW Hughes, started Hughes Investigation Agency (HIA) during WWII in Los Angeles.  Our grandmother, Dorothy Hughes, also ran Hughes Investigation Agency when WW Hughes retired. Our father, George Steele Tiffany had over fifty years of experience. George joined the family business and ultimately became President of Hughes Investigations. After selling Hughes, he established Tiffany Investigations in Orange County in 1995 for the legal and business communities. George's two daughters, Michelle Tiffany Nalaboff & Carrie Tiffany, joined the business and each had their own branch, one in Murrieta and one in Los Angeles. George retired in 2019, dissolving Tiffany Investigations and passing the family legacy on to his daughters. The Murrieta branch became Tiffany & Nalaboff Investigations, led by Michelle Tiffany Nalaboff. In April, 2022, George Tiffany passed away, but Tiffany & Nalaboff Investigations continues to thrive due to the training and wisdom our father provided for the last fifty years. We honor him with every investigation we conduct.

The family business continues with the addition of the next generations. Tiffany & Nalaboff Investigations is the result of three generations of private investigative experience.
